I have received your letter of the 6th instant enclosing a letter addressed to Calo Ro Meigs which I shall forward this day by a boat loaded with all the Q. M. Stores, Cloathing &ca that have come to hand since the departure of Colo W Sargent with whom I sent forward all the Stores then on hand intended for Fort Washington. The Indian Goods and all other Stores shall be forward as soon as the amount of a boat load comes to hand — Boats are always in readiness.
A Return of Provision at this post is herewith enclosed commencing the 1st June 795 and ending the 29th February 1796 inclusive — an additional Return will be made in a few days to include the remainder of the Provision delivered by the old Contractors during their contract at this post.
I have this day drawn on you in favor of John Gill for 848 dollars at eight days sight, which be pleased to pay and charge as usual — and you will find enclosed James Hamilton's Order on you in my favor for 30 dollars which you will please to pass to my credit.
