is no new one at this Office notwithstanding it May appear the contrary to you — You was charged with the Recruiting Money — Received from Ensign Thompson because he charged it in his Account & sent forward vouchers to account for part of it in your Name those vouchers have been admitted to your Credit, & your Acct balanced agreeably thereto — The premiums of the Deserters was allowed to you on a uniform rule which then prevailed in the Office to wit when Deserters were long enough in Service for their pay to cover the Premiums it was allowed to the Officers, and the premium for Lowman was deducted from the Account because he was Returned unfit for Service.
