I received your letter of the 27th Ulto — together with its accompaniments which the pressure of business at present prevents an examination but by the next post I will inform you of the amount passed to your Credit. — The errors in the rolls of Israel Crawfords are in those for the Months of May, June & July 1793 — which you charged 1016 22/100 and the Muster pay rolls are for 1016 2/100 difference 20 Cts and in those for Novr & December 1794 you charge 563 85/100 and the amount of the pay rolls is 559 85/100 difference 4 oo/100 This you will find to be the case on an examination of the pay rolls —
Agreeably to your request Blanks Muster & pay Rolls will accompany this — For your government I enclose you the act of Congress passed 30 May for ascertaining and fixing the Military Establishment of the United States
