To Whom it may Concern
To the treaty of Greenville concluded in August last by a Major General Waynes on the part of the United States on the 3d the former order President Smith & Cosh of the Lake, has stipulated the his Indians shall not alienate their lands or cede or Donation without the Consent of the United States. He follow, from his Stipulations, that all Contracts or Sales made Subsequent to his said Treaty and Contrary Compact and Convened & other the Settlements at the instance of those former Chiefs Who, in order to carry him & those Troops in Sophistrications, to which he has appeared one forward from Government — designing persons for Grants of three Lands, Grants & by Greenville Abley 77t — Attest my mind & Seal.
