Sir,
The Account of Chander Burlington
with his Vouchers were received some years
since at the War office for settlement.
since his decease I applied at the request of
his Widow to be informed what [undecipherable]
the satisfying his arrears of Pay. I was
informed by Mr Howell that his Vouchers
were insufficient to Account for all the
final Settlements he had received to pay
the Regiment. It is supposed that the
Letter of Attomy and order of Peter Hazard
in favour of Israel Pearce, an among
the Vouchers rendered. a lawsuite is —
pending between Hazard & Pearce & the
latter under the Copies in Question to relate
