Agreeably to the letter of the 27 of March 1795 from my predecessor to you — you continue to stand cha[undecipherable]
on the Books of this Office under date of the twenty eighth August
1795 with the sum of Two hundred and fifty Dollars received by y[undecipherable]
on that day from Daniel Stevens Supr of the District of Charle[undecipherable]
So Carolina for the purpose of mounting the Artillery at
Georgetown I have therefore to Request that you will as early as [undecipherable]
convenient transmit your Account and Vouchers for the expe[undecipherable]
thereof or any part that the balance (if any) due the United Sta[undecipherable]
may be refunded by you, and your account closed on the Bo[undecipherable]
