Fort Washington 16^th May 1795 Dear Sir I have Sent under the charge of Serg^t James Henry, William M^cGuigen a Corporal of the 2^nd Sub Legion, belonging to Cap^t Bird's detachment & who deserted from this place [strikethrough: where =on duty.
