I Jonathan Parsons do acknowledge to have voluntarily inlisted myself as a Soldier in the corps Artillerists and Engineers in the service of the United States, for the period of three years unless sooner discharged; upon the terms mentioned in the act, entitled, "An act for the continuing and regulating the military establishment of the United States, and for repealing sundry acts heretofore passed on that subject." And that I have had read unto me the rules and articles of War against mutiny and desertion, and relative to the administration of justice.
