Your accounts have been under examination and the Balance due the United States is 3 [undecipherable: probable reading 22/100] D^rs which differs from your [undecipherable] to [the?] D^rs and which is accounted for in manner stated in the enclosed Extract. The Bounty due to the Recruits under your Command may be paid provided you are certain of the Money being due to those Men enlisted by Cap^t Price, Hough, and Lewis — Those Officers have not settled their Recruiting accounts, and consequently I have no documents to shew they are entitled — I observe by the Statement of Bounty that William Convorse is included, who appears to be discharged by Col.
