I Jonathan Parsons do acknowledge to have voluntarily inlisted myself as a Soldier in the corps Artillerists and Engineers in the service of the United States, for the period of three years unless sooner discharged; upon the terms mentioned in the act, entitled, " An act for the continuing and regulating the military establishment of the United States, and for repealing sundry acts heretofore passed on that subject."
