The Bounty due to the recruits under your Command may be paid, provided you are certain of the Money being due to the Men enlisted by Capt^s Price, Slough, and Lewis — Those Officers not settled their recruiting accounts, and consequently I have no documents to shew they are entitled — It appears by the Statement of Bounty that William Conyers is included, who appears to be [undecipherable: Ported] by Cpt Butler — he in my opinion is not entitled Henry Miller Esq^r Sup^t of Penn^a will remit you the Sum of One hundred Dollars agreeably to your Statement which Sum you will receipt to him to be accountable — for the due application thereof I am &c William Simmons
