[Letter from Sam^l Hodgdon 28^th April 1796] M^r Daniel Baragan D. Qm. Genle Fort Washington Philadelphia 28 April 1796 Sir On the 1^st of December last I wrote to you requiring among other particulars to number & Endorse all the Bills you may draw on me in future — Since then I have no advice from you, and the Drafts remain unaltered — perhaps you did not receive my letter, I shall hope after this, to have the business then recommended attended to — Colonel O'Hara is uneasy because your accounts during his Administration are not rendered — whose attention has taken place his resignation notwithstanding it will be proper to render them quarterly as due Viz^t — to the first of the present year, and from thence to the first of April following — A return of Stores in the Quarter Masters Department at the several Posts and with the Army is wanted — We have none since October, and the Ordinance of Congress enjoin them Monthly — unless I receive them I cannot make such arrangements as are necessarily expected from me — Let me hear from you on these several Subjects shortly — I am Sir, Your most Obedient Servant Samuel Hodgdon M^r Daniel Baragan
