Sir
have been over with your letter of the 25. Ult. I hase of the bill or wrote ity which goes to Newyork & ware duplicate records to the Supervisor for the amount mention'd in your letter.
The Secretary of War has directed me to forward my account which I inclose in consequence — Rations are what I took in Kind at West Point as will appear by the contractors accounts — Forage has been paid to me untill the Month of March exclusive, as per Pay Rolls, & over the Month of March's forage is I suppose in New York; I need there fore No account to settle, but that of Pay
