I have been favour'd with your letter of the 25. Inst. I shall by the first opportinity, which goes to New York forward duplicat receipts to the Supervisor for the amount mentioned in your letter.
The Secretary of War has directed me to forward my account which I inclose in consequence. Rations are what I took in kind at West Point, as will appear by the Contractors accounts. Forage has been paid to me untill the Month of March exclusive, as per Pay Rolls, Beven the Month of March's forage is I suppose in New York; I have therefore No account to settle, but that of Pay.
