Westpoint April 22^d 1796 Sir I have the honor to transmit to you a proposal of Lieu^t Wilson to Thomas Laughlin, an Artificer in the corps of art & engineers, by which it appears that 8 Dollars are due to him on his bounty I have had the two Soldiers whom I brought with me from [undecipherable] included in the Pay Roll of January last for the remainder of the Bounty, which agreeably to rule is to be paid to them on their arrival to the corps that application has not been attended to, altho they were Inlisted by an officer whom you may get accounts from when you please, for they are: two Edmans men. to their names is [undecipherable] Kaler & John Kin both transferred to the 2^d Company 3^d Battalion (cap^t Kolb's co.) in garrison at Westpoint.
