On the 7th of Jany 1796 the Treasurer of the United States Remitted you the Sum of One hundred sixty eight Dollars & seventy five Cents being the Amount of warrant No 903 — issued from this Office in favor of David St Purcherses Esq for his pay as an assistant Storekeeper at Springfield and as I am informed by a Letter dated the 26 ulto that he has not received I have therefore to request if you have received that Sum that you will apply it accordingly
