I received your letter of the 9 Inst enclosing the Notes of the State of Marietta No Reserve Waterford and Gallipolis and your Account of Compensation; in answer thereto I have to inform you that no further payment can be made Upon your Notes are finally adjusted. I shall therefore to make the propriety of the payment to Mr William Skinnery when he appears with your Notes. The Notes will be retained in the Office until you forward yours for the Settlement of your Account —
