The Treasurer of the United States will remit you the sum of Three Thousands two hundred twenty six Dollars and Twenty four Cents which please pay to said Nichs Freeman — Depy & Pay Master, at West point, being for the Pay Subsistence, and Forage of the Corps of Artillerists and Engineers Stationed at that Post to 30 Mar 1796 for which he will sign duplicate receipts to be accountable for thro' this application through you will also receive the further sum of one hundred fifty eight Dollars and seventy Cents being the Amount of your Account for Commissions on receiving and paying sundry sums of Money from this Department between the 29 Apl 1795 & 17 Mar 1796 & for which please forward your receipt.
