Your letter of the 5th Instt enclosing your Muster and Pay Roll of 31 March 1796 have been received the pay roll has been examined amounting to Two Hundred fifty one Dollars and twenty three Cents which you will receive from Henry Miller Esqr by the order of the Secretary of War with duplicate Receipts for which you will sign'd separate to be accountable for the disbursement thereof agreeably to the enclosed pay Roll. I have to observe to you that your company is deducted the pay Note; your having considerable Recruiting Money in your hands unaccounted for —
