I have received your letters of the 12 ult: with the enclosures - The Receipt Note for pay of yourself Ensign Robert Sirrains & the men under your Command for the Months of September October November & December 1795 amounting to the sum of Seven hundred Sixteen Dollars and fifty three Cents, has been examined and will be passed to your Credits as also the Receipt of Fanny Dannan for the pay of her Brother Wm Dannan - - -
The pay note for the Months of January & February 1796 has been examined and found right amounting to Four hundred sixty Dollars and twenty two Cents which fund you will receive of Daniel Stevens Supervisors Charleston and for which you will please sign duplicate Receipts to be accountable -
