I received your letter of the 31 ulto and have to inform you that your pay, may be included in the Pay and Muster Rolls of the Troops at Fort Norfolk. I therefore enclose Blank Muster & Pay Rolls to Muster upon them Monthly and forward them together with a Pay Roll to this Office when Yours and their Pay will be forwarded. The Muster Rolls must be sworn to before a Magistrate.
