You mention in your letter just received that it is understood that the sloop you have chartered for St Marys is to remain there subject to the orders of the commissioners until they have finished their mission and are ready to return to this City where the vessel is to be discharged.
As it would be improper to detain the vessel after delivering the public effects at St Marys longer than would be requisite to take in her return cargo should there be any peltry or other articles on hand to compose a cargo you will be pleased to have the agreement with the captain modified accordingly.
