Nicholas Fish Esqr Sup[erintendent]
of New York will pay you the Sum of 78 Dollars [&c.]
being for the Pay of a detachment of the 1st Sublegion enc[amped]
at West Point for the Month of February 1796 for wh[ich]
you will sign duplicate Receipts to be accountabl[e for]
the due application thereof. — On examination, an err[or has]
been discovered in the pay of John Day and Israel Lawren[ce,]
former being 7 Cents and the latter 10 Cents too little, It ha[s been]
corrected and you will accordingly take notice of it in [settling]
the receipt Rolls. —
