                        I received your letter of the 2nd Ins.t enclosing a Receipt Roll for pay of yourself, and payments you made to your detachment for the months of October, November, and December amounting to 959 8/100 Dollars, which will be passed to your Credit after an examination takes place- The letter you enclosed for Lieut. Daniel Bissell was forwarded by Wednesday's mail to Connecticut.
