Luman respecting the officers who have open accounts to settle in your office: mine with vouchers &c have been forwarded, but that I expected to have produced them myself before this; a violent cold has, however, prevented me — and still confines me to my room; yet I flatter myself that in the course of the next month to be able to get on: — till then be assured, that the sums advanced on hair been applied as intended — and that I expect the balance to be considerably in my favour. with respect your Obedient Servant J Bruff P.S.
