My last letter was on the 15th Inst, which I hope arrived safe.
Enclosed are the Returns of the Garrison, also some wampum, and a Speech from the Wabash Indians.
Major Hamtramck is now with me, and going down the Wabash in a few days, he has requested me to inform you, that he will take any Speech you please to send and deliver it to each Nation.
We have no news of any Consequence — a Soldier the other night deserted on his post — I sent an Indian after him but with out success.
