                                  Agreeably to the information given you in my 

letters of this day - I since handed yours of the 18th Tues. to the Secretary of War and in answer to that part of it which relates to the buildings at West Point I have to inform you that he wishes to be furnished (by you) with a return of the public buildings at West Point setting forth their demintions their probable cost, and by whom they are now occupied together with an Estimate of the amount of requisitions now made by Colo. Rochefontaine and the purposes for which they are wanted – To which you will please to attend as soon as convenient.–
