Inclosed is the Return of Store received and delivered in the Month of January. I hope it is agreeable to your Directions.
The 6. of January I sent on the vouchers for expenses to the amount of £465: 5: 0 that with the other vouchers that I have sent on before amount to £2062: 17: 1 acording to my account. I have paid some money on account that I have no vouchers for, for want of money to settle the whole. I have sent on an account of what money is due to the workmen that made the Carriages to the amount of £148 [undecipherable: pound], the men want their money and are uneasy in being keep out of it so long
The Accountant informed me some Month since that my account was not settled owing to some imperfections and want of vouchers. I have received my salary to the 6. of June 1795 to recen my salary from that time to the last of Decr 1795 there remains due to me acording to my account 59 pound exclusive of what money I have paid on account. I shall be exceedingly obliged to you to use your influence to have the money sent on to pay the men and myself as soon as may be convenient
