Miller] Carlisle Feb^y 16^th 1796 I Rec^d your letter of the 19^th Jan^y and that of 12^th of Feb^t both in one day the first came in the Harrisburgh mail which did not arrive at this place for the last two weeks I forwarded my Return of the Stores according to your former Request the 2^d of Jan^y by a sergeant who had got his discharge from the army. together with a neat Map of the buildings and a letter to yourself he formerly belonged to Cap^t Yous Comⁿ. I also give him three Dollars to bear his expences which money he was to deposit with you— it is certain from his papers their was money due him at the War Office I suppose from his not delivering the Retⁿ to you that he has sold his discharge and no^w went to the City.
