Sir,
I take the liberty to inclose to you Colonels' Rochefontaine's letters to me of the 10th and 11th instant, and a copy of mine to him of this day's date, also are purjoined to the Commandant's letter of the 10th, the demands of Andrew Simpson for 9 dollars 75 cents, and of Abraham Sykes for 5 dollars bounty.
I would thank you to inform me to whom I must pay the money remaining in my on my ceasing to act as paymaster to the Corps at West Point; and to point out to me the forms of the [undecipherable] would wish me to adopt.
On the next muster roll references will be made to the demands of bounty, which I now transmit you.
