Boston Feb. 10 1796 Your favour on my Account for Commissions I have rec^d but I have not rec^d the remittance from the Treasurer — The Sum of 88 20 Cents p^d for McLellan & Son for transporting troops from Portland to Boston [strikethrough: I forwarded] this Act. of receipt I forwarded to M Cox with my weekly return May 11^th 1795 of having rec^d the same from the Treasurer on the 7.^th of July last. I forwarded him a receipt for the same. As to the difference in my act of 66 Cents I would observe that agreably to your Letter of the 16.^th of April 1795 I paid Lieut Devens Hale 406 Dollars & 65 Cents as will appear by his Account transmitted.
