Presque Isle Feb^y 2^d 1796 Sir I enclose you a Receit Roll of my detachment for the Months of October Nov^r & Dec^r 1795. The Ammount of Money receid for the payment of my detachment was Nine hundred fifty nine dollars and eight Cents, which sum I receid by orders from Isaac Craig Esq^r You will please to observe that a Completletion of Stopages are made from the Pay of the three desarters of the detachment 18 from Joseph Hawkins the sum of Six dollars fifty one Cents, from John Hawkins & James Brooks, the same Ammt each, it making in the whole, the sum of eighteen dollars fifty one Cents. After the Muster and Receit Rolls are duly examined, will thank you to pass the Amm^t of the receit Roll to my Credit. I receid the letter from M^r Hagen dated Jan^y 14^th 1796.
