Sir,
You will find enclosed herewith a General Return of Stores at this post up to the first of the present year 1795 — A duplicate of that Return together with an abstract of expenditures in the Dept & Commissarys department commencing the 12th of October 1795 ending the 30th January 996 accompanied by the relative Vouchers is now transmitted to the Comptroller of the Treasury under cover addressed to the Secretary of War in four packets — A duplicate of the abstract I expect to have the Honor of handing you at the War Office in a few days.
The Amount of expenditures during the above period at the post of Petersburg and its dependences is Dollars 28,130,99cts comprehending the posts of Presqu'isle & Beef, Fort Franklin, Pittsburg, Fort Randolph, Marietta & Galleopolis together with the intermediate Places
