Pitts burg Jan 29. 1795 Sir You will find enclosed herewith sundry Muster & Pay Rolls of the several Detachments stationed at the upper posts of the Ohio &c together with several Vouchers of disbursements made at this Post under the authority of the Accountant of the War Department accompanied by a Schedule of the several Rolls and Accounts the aggregate of which appears to be [undecipherable]rs 3738.87 2/9 cents which sum be pleased to place to my credit. In addition to the above you will also find enclosed five Receipt Rolls also accompanied by a Schedule the amount that appears paid on the several Rolls you will of course place to the credit of the officers therein named respectively — [Jan. 30. —] January 30^th Your letter of the 20^th Instant is this Moment come to hand &to which I shall particularly attend but as the time the post is detained at this place is too short to make out and transmit a general Statement of my Accounts at this time I shall have it prepared &expect to have the pleasure of forwarding it to you in eight or ten days.
