You will now receive enclosed with this letter my account of contingent expences dated the 1 instant with its vouchers, amount 1218 dollars & 3 cents, my account of disbursements for firewood for the troops here dated the 2 instant with its vouchers, amount 391 dollars and 65 cents — my account of contingent expences dated the 16 instant with its vouchers, amount 339 dollars of 21 cents, and my account of disbursements for firewood for the artilerists & engineers dated the 22 instant with its vouchers, amount 1186 dollars and 9 cents — total amount 3234 dollars & 98 cents. You will also now receive a pay roll for the December pay of the ordnance detachment. I will send you the vouchers very shortly. I intended to have sent this packet of papers by Col.
