South Carolina, Agents Office, Col^ln on, 21^st Jan^y 1796 Sir — Agreable to your Request, I now have the honor of transmitting you, my General Account Current with the War, of Monies remitted me from the Treasury, up to 30^th U^lt last, also my Particular Account of same nature, Ending 31^st Dec. 1795. You will please to observe that as my Commissions on the Account paid to 30^th Sep^t. has already been entered in my Licence Books as Supervisor, and considered as a Remittance, I wish it may be settled in that way. My Commissions now charged on the Dec. July Account, will not appear in my Revenue Accounts, but stand as a debit against the War department, until the Money is remitted, and this Mode I shall observe in future agreable to your instructions contained in your Letter of the 16^th Nov last, which I now will prove satisfactory, and had I comprehended your Ideas before, they would have been most certainly complyed with,
