Sir
Henry Glen Esq. a member of Congress has exhibited to this Office an account wherein he makes a charge against the United States for the storing of a quantity of Military Stores (in his store in the Town of Schenectady[)] from the 1st of June 1794 to the 31st of December 1795. I find on examination that he has had an allowance of this kind up to the 1st of June 1794 founded on a letter from you to the late Secretary of War dated 6th June 1794. I therefore wish you to inform me whether the stores mentioned in your letter and are still in his possession, and if any agreement has been made with him for storing said articles.
