West Point June 7^th 1790 Dear Sir I did myself the pleasure of writing to you on the 24 Ult^o on the Subject of M^rs Roberts's allowance from her husband, which letter, I apprehend has miscarried. I am indeed the more strongly to this belief from the cir-cumstance of its having been sent as far as New York by a private hand, & by him to be put in the post Office.
