I find by your Muster Rolls, that you have In[undecipherable: listed?] a man by the Name of James Trowbridge who I presume is the person that was discharged from Cap^t Wm Eaton on the 24^th of November for inability, he has received a discharge from the Secretary of War mentioning that he is discharged in consequence of a Violent Contusion and fracture of the Joint of his Shoulder — If he proves to be the same person you will make him return all Bounty or any other Money that he has received from you, and have him discharged immediately. — I am Sir y^rs William Simmons Nicholas Fiske Esq^re D^t of War Accountants Office Dep^t New York Jan^y 18^th 1796.
