[Committee of Claims Report] Jacob (Beck and thirteen other claims on arrearages of their pay while serving in Col. Begg's Flowers Reg^t of artillery [undecipherable] in the late War. They state, that they were intitled to 20 doll^rs p^r M^o while in service and the same bounty & Clothing as others while in service [strikethrough: & the same bounty & Clothing] as others Troops had — that they have in fact rec^d but 12 doll^rs p^r month & their bounty &c — They Claim the difference from 12 to [undecipherable] p^r M^o. This Claim the Com^ee suppose is barred — but if it were not, they are convinced it is not well founded on the 19^th of Feb^y 1778 — 20 doll^rs p^r M^o was promised to Col. Flowers Reg^t on the 28^th Apr^l 1781 they were recommended to the States to receive Depre- ciation — at the value of the Money at the time of their establishment — on the 19^th Dec^r 1782 they were by Resolve to receive their pay at 12 Doll^rs p^r M^o. In this Course and and under the above Regulations have the individuals of Col^o Flowers Reg^t been paid The Com^ee are of Opinion this Claim is unfounded and cannot be granted & that leave be given the petitioners to withdraw Jan^y 28, 1796 the 12^th Jan^y 1796 Jacob Beck & others had leave to withdraw their petitions
