I have requested Mr Simmons to pay to you my Estimate for December amounting to Sixteen hundred and Sixty Seven dollars 73 ¾cts
Having lately purchased a quantity of Iron of Mr William Wilson and not having the money to pay him, he solicited a draft payable in Philadelphia, to Accommodate him, I have taken the liberty to draw on you and request you will please honor the draft Amounting to Two hundred and Seventeen dollars 62½ Cents when it is presented to you, by paying him out of the money which you shall receive of Mr Simmons for December Estimate – The balance please send to us as soon as convenient, the People are suffering greatly for money, none having been received since August last.
