The Secretary of War Department of War Accountants Office January 5th 1796 Sir In my last letter to Constant Freeman Agent of the War Departmt. in Georgia Informed him that the claim of Milita of that State would be decided on wihtout delay_ This information I was led to give him from the conversation I had with you a few days ago on that Subject_ As the Post will set out for that Country on Friday next I have thought proper Sir to remind you thereof and that I may be enabled to give the information promised. I am Sir &c. William Simmons
