Colonel Rochefontaine's Boxes of Claret
Document 1795Manning has discovered that Colonel Rochefontaine's boxes of claret are in town and the other aricles are at Long Island but he does not know what they are until he gets the invoice.

We received yours of the 22d.
Dec., we shall make enquiry concerning Capt. L. Hammerieus Vefsel and the Goods-But you omitted to inclose the Invoice of the Goods- It will be necefsary we should be furnished with this without delay- We shall attend to the Invoife

Dec. 24th. Since writing the above we have enquired after the things you mention-We find Col. Rochfontaines Boxes of Claret are in Town, from what we can learn the other articles are at Long Island, but we cannot tell what the articles are until we get the Invoice. We are as above
