Sir I have received your letter of the 13^th Inst^t and on examination of the Account of your Pay and forage enclosed therein, I observe th[at] you have omitted charging yourself with all the mo[nies] you have received on that Account — I have therefore Stated on the otherside an account of your pay and forage from the Date of your acceptance to the 1^st of the present month and affixed thereto the monies you have received on account thereof by which you will observe that the account exact- ly balances consequently the Statement sent you by Col^o Rochefontaine was Correct.
