Head Quarters Greene Ville Dec.^r 11^th 1795 Sir I have received your letter of the 14^th of Novemb. in which you mention those two receipts I enclosed to you came safe, and will be passed to my account. Enclosed is a receipt of M^r Swans for twenty eight thousand, eight hundred and Seventy two dollars, the sum transmitted to him by me, likewise an account of M^r Swan's with one, which will elucidate and hasten the settlement of my account at your office; I have not had opportunity to examine whether I have a receipt to ballance the forty eight dollars remaining in my hands when I received the pay for my company of Capt.
