You will receive from the Treasurer of the United States the sum of one hundred and eighteen Dollars being for the pay of Lt Horatio R. Dayton and the detachment under his command on Governors Island for the month of November 1795. which sum you will please to pay to him taking his duplicate receipts to be Accountable for due application thro' one of which you will please to transmit to this Office

On examination of your Account on the Books of this Office as Supervisor— I observe that you are charged with 36 90/100 Dollars for which no Receipt has yet been received, altho' the money is charged to you under Date of the 20th June last— I have to request that you will forward Col. Philip Reed's receipt for that sum agreeably to my letter to you of the above date.
As all Supervisors Accounts for Commissions on receiving and paying monies from this Department are settled at this Office I have to request that you will forward your Account for such Commission at 1 pr ct agreeably to the [underline: Circular letter to Supervisors] from the Secretary of the Treasury of the 12th June 1794 that
