Mr Decrette informs me that a second pairing of trunnions have been made here for the project 24 pound cannon. He says they will be wanted at Cecil furnance. Please to have them packed carefully in a box, and sent to Charlestown post office, which is between the Head of Elk & the Susquehannah, & about three miles from Mr Hughes's furnace, where they are wanted; there being just being risqued in the carriage. The box can be sent in the stage, with a letter addressed to Colo Hughes, or his Manager at Cecil furnace.
