I have received your favour of the 13th instant acknowledging the Receipt of my estimate for Fort Franklin, and to which I have to beg your early attention — I shall by next post transmit you an estimate of the Experdities that must accrue, as necessary, at this post and its dependencies up to the end of the year 1795 and to which I shall also have to request your early attention and particularly as I am in hopes of having the business of my Department in such a State or forwardness as to have a week or less to spend in Philadelphia at the first of the new year provided I can have the Secretary of War's permission to leave my post at that time and for which I have yet to make application
