West Point Nov. 17th 1795.
Sir
My last letter to you was dated the [undecipherable] Instant, which accompanied vouchers, under cover to the hon. the Secretary of War. In my letter to you I mentioned that I had requested him to forward to me immediately three thousand dollars for contingent expenses at this post. I hope to receive said money very shortly, as I am in extreme want of it. I now inclose you nearly all the remainder of my vouchers prior to the time Mr Fisher arrived here. I will immediately get the certificates signed to the remainder of them, and them as soon as I possibly can, complete the vouchers for the money Mr Fisher brought to me & forward them to you. I have just shewed to Col. [undecipherable] in my books the amounts of the several sums of money I have received from the War Department for contingent expenses since his coming first here. He tells me about five thousand dollars more, in addition to the three thousand I requested the Secretary of War the
to want to send the [undecipherable] for contingent expenses, he thinks it will.
I have requested Col. Pick[undecipherable] to forward to me for contingent expenses at this post the five thousand dollars immediately for [undecipherable] forward me denomination of.
I am, with respect,
Sir, Your most obedient
Hum. ble servt,
Geo. Fleming
