Sir, I have received your Letter of the 10^th Inst^t together with the Receipt Roll mentioned therein, which shall be examined and the Amount paid entered to your Credit. If the Men are to be stationed at the upper Posts of the Ohio, there is no necessity for sending Muster Rolls to M^r Swan as M^r Craig is the Paymaster to the Troops, in that Quarter. On a re-examination of the Receipt Rolls of Cap^t Brupft Corps for July it has been discovered that the Rest signed by Cap^t Frayer had been overlooked by the examining Clerks. The amount therefore is now passed to your Credit, say six Dollars.— The Muster & pay Rolls mentioned in your Letter of the 10^th will be put under examination & the amount found due as usual will be remitted to you. An abstract of additional Bounty due to those Men inlisted by the Officers who have Settled their Accounts at this Office, shall be forwarded in the Course of a few Days together with Funds to discharge the same; and as the accounts come in for Settlement in future, an abstract shall be transmitted to you to
