The Warrant drawn in your favour to be paid to Captn Gibson for 591[undecipherable] Dollars, having been presented to the Treasurer in time he[undecipherable] unable to make the remittance on the day I advis[undecipherable] you thereof, you will now receive that sum together [undecipherable] the sum of 320 Dollrs 33/100 being, for the pay of the Inlisted by Lt Stephen Trigg and joined Captn Gib[undecipherable] both of which sums you will please pay to Captn [undecipherable] Gibson or in his absence from Richmond to Captn [undecipherable] Tinsley under whose command the troops now are taking the necessary receipts. The enclosed letter will please to deliver to the Officer to whom you [undecipherable] the money.
